Sada Aschnewitz(’11) Joins Tri-County Health Care
Sada Aschnewitz, family nurse practitioner, has joined the Tri-County Health Care team to practice family medicine at the Wadena clinic.
Aschnewitz practiced as a registered nurse for seven years, most of which took place in surgery, home health and hospice at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Her special interests are preventive health, women’s health and pediatrics. According to Aschnewitz, growing up on a dairy farm north of New York Mills helped lead her to the nursing profession, as did an internship at Tri-County. “Tri-County Health care has a deep passion for mentoring individuals and promoting health in the surrounding communities,” she said. “I am excited to participate in this culture.”
Aschnewitz and her husband have two daughters, and they enjoy outdoor activities including biking, fishing and snowshoeing.
She earned her BSN from UJ in 2011.
