Joann Trader(’04) Joins Essentia Jamestown

Nurse Practitioner JoAnn Trader has joined the Family Medicine Department at the Essentia Health-Jamestown Clinic in Jamestown, North Dakota.

“Essentia Health’s mission, values and beliefs directly corresponds with my own,” says Trader. “The people we serve should be our highest priority, and I feel I have seen this demonstrated here. I look forward to joining this talented team.”

Trader earned a doctorate degree in nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“Family medicine gives me the opportunity to provide care for all ages, from pediatrics to the geriatric population,” says Trader. “Not only will I manage chronic illness, but I can provide preventive care to improve the health of my patients as well.”
