Industry Leaders and Subject Matter Experts Lead UJ Courses

University of Jamestown is proud to announce the impressive caliber of faculty joining its ranks this academic year. UJ will be offering a diverse array of classes and lecture series, providing both enrolled students and non-degree-seeking professionals with the opportunity to learn from top experts across various academic disciplines.

One of the standout courses this semester is BUSN 440 Investments, taught by UJ Board of Trustee Member and seasoned business professional, David Haukaas. With nearly 20 years of experience in the investment industry, Haukaas has a wealth of knowledge ranging from mergers and acquisitions to investment firm return optimization in the Middle East, as well as private investments deal sourcing and due diligence.

Currently, Haukaas is engaged in a multi-sector project portfolio in the United States with O’Leary Ventures, the venture capital and private equity group led by Kevin O’Leary. He is also a Founding Partner of an international investment consulting firm and provides advisory services to numerous startups and their founders.

Our students will greatly benefit from his extensive experience in business and investment, as well as his mentorship as they start their careers.
