Engagement: Amanda Schmitz(’16) & Jared Volesky

Amanda Schmitz, of Alexandria Minn., and Jared Volesky, of Dickinson, announce their engagement.

Amanda is the daughter of Michael and Alice Schmitz of Alexandria. She is a 2010 graduate from Jefferson High School, a 2013 graduate from University of Minnesota Morris with a bachelor’s degree biology, and is a 2016 graduate from the University of Jamestown with a doctorate of physical therapy. She will begin work at Knute Nelson in November in Elbow Lake, Minn.

Jared is the son of Bryan and Janel Volesky. He is a 2006 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2011 graduate from Dickinson State University with his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He works for Sanford Health in Alexandria, Minn.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 12 in Alexandria, Minn.
