Blundell (’04) Hired as Head Coach
Jordan Blundell (‘04) was recently hired as the new Head Coach and Director of Baseball Operations for Edmonton Prospects of the Western Canadian Baseball League. He is currently the assistant general manager for the team, and will take on a dual role for the remainder of the off-season.
Jordan played baseball for the Jimmies. He was an All-American in 2003, played in the 2004 NAIA World Series, and also began his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at UJ in 2004.
The following year, he became the Head Coach and Director of Operations at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, B.C – a role he held for a total of 12 years. He also coached the Prospects for a year, as well as the Sherwood Park Dukes and the Swift Current Indians.
