Alisha Sandidge-Renteria (’11) Publishes Manuscript
Alisha Sandidge-Renteria MSN, FNP-C, RN-CMSRN, PHN (’11) was the second author on a manuscript titled “Incidence and Predictors of Nonventilator Hospital–Acquired Pneumonia in a Community Hospital.” According to the manuscript, the purpose of the study was to “determine the incidence of NV-HAP in a California community hospital and to identify the patient and nursing care factors including missed nursing care associated with its development.”
Alisha and her team will do the second arm of the study in a year to see if the hap rates/deaths have decreased. For more information, read the full manuscript.
