Help provide scholarships for arts students and to increase the arts opportunities at University of Jamestown.
The Friends of the Arts is committed to providing our students opportunities to develop their understanding of acting, music, and art on a worldly and academic stage—as well as to create life-long learners. We do that, in part, by making contributions to our eight arts programs and by supporting a wide range of initiatives for our arts students, such as:
Your membership gift is a large part of what helps us come together as an arts community to celebrate the arts. Your support of our student-artists is appreciated and has a positive impact upon our campus community, and the Jamestown community as a whole. Joining the Friends of the Arts Society is easy. Simply donate using our secure online system or download a membership form and mail it back to us.
Although the main purpose of the Friends of the Arts is to support our student artists, there are some extra benefits for members, too—available based on your giving level. All members will have the opportunity to attend UJ’s Afternoon with the Arts, free of charge. These mini-events will take place at least twice a semester and will include updates from the Program Director and UJ’s Director of Alumni Relations, as well as students. Some will even feature an exclusive performance!
