Unmatched Support
We’re overachievers. Especially when it comes to supporting our students. With our WeCare program, dedicated faculty advisors, mental health counselors, a writing center, and more, we have the resources you need to succeed.
Take the first step to becoming a Jimmie. Learn about admission criteria and the steps needed to apply for each of our programs.
We try to make applying to UJ as easy as possible. The application is free and should take no more than 15 minutes.
Let’s start the process by selecting what type of student you are:
This is for students interested in learning on campus. You’re classified as a first-year student if you graduated from high school in the U.S. or earned your GED, and you’ve never attended college.
We consider you an international student if you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and are interested in earning your bachelor’s degree at UJ.
You’re classified as a graduate student if you’ve earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college and are interested in earning your master’s or doctorate degree.
You’re considered a transfer student if you graduated from an accredited high school or earned your GED, and have 12 transferable credits and/or an associate’s degree from another college.
You are considered an undergraduate, online student if you, at minimum, graduated from an accredited high school or earned your GED, and are interested in earning your bachelor’s degree from home.
Have you ever taken classes from the University of Jamestown? If so, then there is no need to fill out a full admission application. Fill out this form and an admissions specialist will be in touch with you to help you through the rest of the registration process.
We’re overachievers. Especially when it comes to supporting our students. With our WeCare program, dedicated faculty advisors, mental health counselors, a writing center, and more, we have the resources you need to succeed.
We strive to make UJ accessible to every student who values a private, liberal arts education. We give out $10 million a year in scholarships and have a Financial Aid Office dedicated to maximizing the amount of aid you can receive.
We believe in evaluating students who apply to UJ based on their whole person, not just test scores. We encourage all interested students to apply. Share your story. Share your spark. And show us why UJ is the right place for you.
