STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER EXPECTATIONS

Respect your Tutor’s time.
Tutor sessions will be scheduled for approximately 50 minutes, once a week. Arrive at your tutoring location at the agreed on time. Please contact your tutor (as soon as possible) if you are going to be late or cannot make your tutoring appointment. If you miss two appointments in a row without notification, you will be dropped from the tutoring schedule.

Come to the tutoring session prepared.
Bring questions regarding your homework or understanding the topic. Tutors will never do your homework, give you answers, or write a paper. They will offer assistance to help you understand the topic better.Please remember that tutors:

• Are students just like you.
• Share their expertise to help you in your classes.
• Are not responsible for your work or your grade.

Bring homework and do the work ahead of time. Your tutoring session will be much more effective.
