Biography

Dr. Mort Sarabakhsh has 40 years teaching experience which started in 1982 at Mesa College and U.S. International University in San Diego California. He taught at North Dakota State University for 19 years starting in 1985. He was a visiting professor for one year in 1991-1992 at the International Institute of Tourism and Management in Krems, Austria. Dr. Sarabakhsh also taught for more than eight years as a facilitator at the University of Mary, both graduate and undergraduate courses including Marketing at Faro North Dakota Center.

Dr. Sarabakhsh has taught for more than 15 years starting in 2007 at the University of Jamestown, including graduate and undergraduate courses in global marketing and marketing subjects. He, through Community Alliance and Management Consulting Course projects at the University of Jamestown, has helped numerous businesses to improve their marketing business operation.

Dr. Sarabakhsh was a part-time consultant for eight years at Tharaldson Enterprises, which owned and operated 320 hotels in 32 states with 20 different hotel brand names. He provided operational analysis, site marketing growth analysis, and sales training for Guest Service Agents (GSA), general managers and area directors.

Dr. Sarabakhsh is married and has a daughter Sina and a son Cyrus.
