Jeri Lynch grew up on a dairy farm in New Salem, ND. After graduating from high school, she attended Dickinson State University and then transferred to the University of Jamestown to begin pursuing her interest in counseling with a major in psychology. She graduated in 1984 with majors in psychology, English and secondary education. She taught and subbed at schools in ND and TX. Eventually, she returned to school to get her master’s degree in counseling.  As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the state of ND, Jeri has continued her education. In addition to working with relationships, anxiety and depression, she is certified in Complex Trauma therapy, using EMDR therapy and Ego State Therapy for parts work.  Jeri works as a counselor at UJ on Tuesdays and in the community as a counselor at Temple Baptist Church. She is married, has 3 married adult children and 4 grandchildren.
